Oval chestnuts, soft flesh, delicate flavour and elegant. Size 40-50 fruits per Kg.
Origins: North of Italy: Region from Turin (Vallée of Susa) and Cuneo.
Suggestions: Served and drained as it is. Drained and bake icing.
Process for icing: The icing must be prepared 24 hours before to be use. Pour the syrup in a big container. Add the icing sugar in equivalent amount as the drained product weight. Mix well by using a spatula and not a beater. The beater risk to insert too much air. Spray the surface with water to prevent the formation of crust. That will prevent the evaporation of air.
